Analytical Reference Standards
Analytical reference standards for assay calibration and method validation
Lot-released analytical reference standards characterised by 1H-NMR, LC-MS, HPLC-UV and Karl Fischer titration, supplied strictly for in-vitro laboratory research and analytical testing.
How analytical reference standards are characterised and released
An analytical reference standard is a characterised material of known identity and purity used to calibrate an assay, establish system suitability, or quantify a related substance. Its value to a laboratory is entirely a function of how well the material is documented: identity confirmed by orthogonal techniques, chromatographic purity determined against a stated method, and every result traceable to the specific lot in the vial.
Every standard listed here is released lot by lot. The Certificate of Analysis names the tested lot number, the manufacture and retest dates, and the analytical result for each specification — appearance, identity by 1H-NMR and LC-MS, assay by HPLC-UV, largest single unspecified peak, residual solvents to ICH Q3C, water content by Karl Fischer, and residue on ignition.
Materials are packed in sealed amber vials under argon with desiccant and are supplied for in-vitro laboratory research and analytical testing only.

Frequently asked
- What documentation ships with an analytical reference standard?
- A Certificate of Analysis referencing the exact shipped lot, with the full analytical result table, manufacture date and retest date, plus a Safety Data Sheet and a research-use declaration for customs.
- What pack sizes are available?
- Milligram quantities of 1 mg, 5 mg, 10 mg and 50 mg are priced openly on each product page. Volumes from 100 g to 1 kg and above are quoted individually through the bulk enquiry track.
- How should reference standards be stored?
- Storage conditions are stated per material and range from 2–8 °C to −20 °C, desiccated and protected from light. The retest date on the Certificate of Analysis assumes those conditions are maintained.
